Your Five New Options This Week<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-section id=\"framing-within-the-frame\"><strong>1. Framing Within the Frame<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Find a natural frame in your environment \u2014 a doorway, window, tree branches, arches, fences or anything that surrounds your subject. It\u2019s a simple way to add depth and guide the viewer\u2019s eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-section id=\"the-colour-contrast\"><strong>2. The Colour <em>Contrast<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of one dominating colour, look for two colours that play off each other. Complementary (blue\/orange), bold contrasts (red\/green), or subtle pairings (teal\/green). Let colour relationships tell the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-section id=\"quiet-moments\"><strong>3. Quiet Moments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Capture calm. Early morning stillness, someone reading, soft window light, empty spaces, a pet resting. Focus on mood and subtlety rather than action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-section id=\"hard-vs-soft-light\"><strong>4. Hard vs Soft Light<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Photograph the same subject twice \u2014 once in harsh, directional light and once in soft, diffused light. Notice how shadows, detail and emotion shift with the change in lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-section id=\"lines-that-arent-straight\"><strong>5. Lines That Aren\u2019t Straight<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunt for curves, spirals, zig-zags or wavy lines. Roads, rivers, staircases, shadows, architecture or everyday objects.
